Attack on Titan
Attack on Titan is based on a manga series that Hajime Isayama started in 2009. Its initial premise centers around humanity’s constant war against the monstrous Titans just outside civilization’s walls.
After the death of his mother (and jaws) at Titan’s hands, a boy called Eren decides that he will fight back. The anime series is full of heart-pounding action and nerve-jangling horror moments. It’s a manga series that will make Game of Thrones blush. Attack on Titan is available on Animixplay in high quality.
Because of its ability to transform itself amid many shocking twists, it stands taller than other anime. It began as a standard “man vs. the monster” anime. Now it explores morality and revenge. It is a must-see for anime fans, especially before the final episodes in 2023.
Although the short-lived Netflix live-action series has soured some, there is a reason Cowboy Bebop almost always refers to ‘classic anime’.
This 26-episode series combines creator Hajime Yatate’s unfailing eye for action and composer Yoko Kanno’s kinetic jazz music. What is the end result? The show says it tongue-in-cheek: “The work which becomes a new category itself will be called… Cowboy Bebop.”
It is entitled to feel that confidence. Spike Spiegel and his bounty hunters attempt to capture some of the galaxy’s most wanted criminals for woolongs and warm meals.
Every episode explodes with color and chaos as Spike and the rest of the crew, including Faye, Ed, and Spike, move in a fast and furious fashion towards their next targets. It’s all tinged by a feeling of melancholy. Each member of the Bebop crew is trapped by their tragic pasts. This show is unlike any other. Many others have attempted to duplicate its coolness and charm. They all failed.
Death Note is a great place to start if you are new to anime. The English dub is just as good as its subtitled counterpart (a rare find), and it has one of the most well-known and Westernized arcs: the good-guy-turned-bad, in the style of Ozark or Breaking Bad.
Light Yagami, is a teenage boy who stumbles upon the ‘Death Note’. This notebook allows anyone to anonymously kill anyone by simply writing their name. The light makes use of this power to get past some of Japan’s most ruthless criminals and eventually dream bigger.
Light is finally surrounded by the net, and a thrilling cat-and-mouse match between him and L ensues.
Death Note is a riveting drama that will keep you watching until the very end you can watch it on Syncler. It deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as some of the most talked-about prestige dramas on television.
Demon Slayer is currently the most popular anime in the world. This is due to its intense and thrilling fight scenes. Ufotable animation studio has been known for its ability to master action. However, it surpasses its own high standards.
The hit anime shows Tanjiro seeking revenge for the death of his family by demons. He then embarks on a path to becoming a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. Tanjiro is constantly in conflict with the Demon Moon clan’s demons throughout his journey.
Demon Slayer, like most great anime, manages to balance its intensity with some genuine laugh-out-loud moments. To keep things from getting too maudlin, Tanjiro’s friends Zenitsu (a cowardly soldier who can only fight when asleep) and Inosuke (“a hot-headed boy wearing the head of an air”) are always there to help. There are a number of brutal and balletic showdowns between demons and Demon-Slayers that make this show stand out among the rest. The admission price is well worth it.
The Fate/stay-night series is a vast universe that revolves around the Holy Grail. This mythical object allows anyone who obtains it to fulfill their desires. It’s not easy. In order to obtain the Grail, every few generations magic users – also known as Masters – clash in a battle royale-style struggle. They are assisted in their quest by legendary warriors called Servants.
The perfect starting point for the series is Fate/Zero. The Fourth Holy Grail War, which is a prequel to Fate/stay night anime, features Kiritsigu, a mage assassin who wages war against his fellow Masters. The show is jam-packed with entertaining action and plot twists, almost begging to be watched in one sitting. What’s the best part? The best thing?
