The validity of the Wechsler-Rogers test is based on studies involving over 1 700 children. The tests were administered to children between two and seven years of age, and their scores were compared to US Census Bureau estimates. The reliability coefficient for full-scale IQ was 0.96. The reliability coefficients for individual subtests ranged from 0.63 to 0.89.
